Are you living/working without a CRM?, let’s talk about you!. I know almost everybody is talking around what a marvelous world it would be if you get a CRM. Friends, collages, coworkers that come from other companies talking you occasionally that working with a real CRM system is like a good Netflix movie.

Let me tell you that they are not wrong, but maybe they are not telling the whole truth, and maybe you will discover the other side of the whole equation.

But first, let me describe what is your situation now

You are working very hard, and you feel it is not enough. Something is missing, and some things are missing or going to be missed in short time.Your vendors make calls, send messages, write down notes about theirs impressions on customers or customers needs. You know they work, they have family, friends, and from time to time, they have to mix their responsibilities as father, husband, son, or friend with their works activities.

If they have an issue in private life, they have to work even harder to recover the missed days, and maybe his/her customer keeps on waiting until the vendor return to his/her activities.

But you know, that is not a matter of working harder, you feel that you have to work on some other paths. You have a phone, a desk, some papers for writing notes, a notebook — not so old — , sure you have an email account, a spreadsheet a word processor, and for sure one or two smartphones.

What is missing?, a new thing for adding to the collection of those that you already have, and it’s called CRM. You know, we are in a market economy, so new things are always the key for the new world.

A new ring to rule all
The concept is old, so sorry for telling you this, and the applications that implement that concept, also. But how have your business done to live/survive for all these years without the infamous CRM. I have some favorite quotes, here comes one, It doesn’t matter if I am not running fast, just enough to run faster than you.

Yes!, you got it, competition and competitors. You are not alone, and your customers surely have many offerings for the services/products you provide. If your competitors are doing better than you, you and your team are in trouble, and it’s bound to get worse. So it’s not about wondering what I’m doing wrong, it’s about peeking at what your competitors are doing to get faster than you.

If in the jungle where your services were provided, maybe CRM was hardly known, you didn’t need to get into that issue. But in last times, some lions get new teeth, and you don’t have options.

Your delayed decision just was already taken by your competitors and was also accepted by your present and future customers, so you are not in a position to take decisions, you have to take actions.

You are not in a position of wondering if CRM is for you, you just have to buy a CRM license and customize it. OK, I have been rude, seems like I am pushing you to buy, maybe I was being so explicit, I ask my apologies. The market would be more sophisticated, the market will tell you, work hard John, selling less, stressing you, your coworkers, and both families, no problem; the market will go ahead with or without your business.

Now is time to get into that things called CRM, and with your team plan actions for getting the best of the concepts and the implementations that are all around. For Implementations, I mean a lot of software, most of them on the cloud, that actually centralizes your business interaction adding the capability of sharing all the information got from diverse sources and deployed on diverse platforms.

I bet in the last sentence is what you are looking for.
